I think this was a very difficult call for Len, but have to agree with his decision. Phil’s ballroom was stiff, and that was enough to make me think that he would struggle even more in latin, but Don’s ballroom should be better than Phil’s was (he has a great deal of gravitas) I felt sorry for Phil, because he was obviously very nervous – sometimes people forget to breathe when they get in this sort of state. Also, Craigs “common” comment would not have helped matters at all – that was a particularly stupid thing to say, how can a waltz (of any standard) be described as common????
The person who should have been sent home was of course Gary. Shame for Karen, but there you go!
