As is usual for this time of year, the Villa Marina on the Isle of Man was the venue for the Isle of Man Dance Festival, organised by Ellis and Frances Killey.
This festival takes place over two day event and attacts dancers from all over the UK, and a considerable amount of dancers from Ireland. This year we were lucky to have some excellent entertainment in 2 shows by Richard Still and Morgan Hemphill the 10 Dance Champions – I was blown away by them, I particularly enjoyed their rumba which made me want to cry, and their quickstep has to be seen to be believed!
Danny Stowell and Katie Moore were there as well. Danny is a MASSIVE hit with the girls who all kept running off to follow him around like groupies! Ian Sharpe and Victoria Lawrence came – I loved their waltz, so elegant!
