Not a lot of people know this but Ola Jordan’s real first name is Aleksandra. She was born in Poland in September 1982. Ola only started ballroom dancing when she was 12, when it comes to ballroom dancing and kids this is actually quite old but she certainly developed a talent for it, especially the Latin dances! After a relatively short professional career Ola and her husband James joined the BBC program Strictly Come Dancing for the 4th series in 2006. Teaming up with Radio DJ “Spoony” Ola went out after only 3 weeks. Those 3 weeks were plenty long enough to grab the attention of the male population of the UK though and Ola has become a firm lads favourite on the show. Best known for amazing skimpy outfits and Latin routines that will appeal to even the most non Ballroomy bloke Ola’s popularity has only increased over the last couple of years. Besides the fact that she’s a fantastic dancer there will be plenty of people out there that will spare the cost of a call to keep the stunning Ola in for another week. Amazingly for somebody so good looking she is also very popular with the girls, Ola always comes across as relaxed and genuinely nice on the BBC2 program It Takes 2.

This year Mrs Jordan has been teamed up with BBC sports pundit Chris Hollins and in terms of popularity have to be the most popular couple on the show. If Chris can up his dancing just a little bit they will be shoe-ins for the final. At least every male ballroom dancing fan in the country hopes so!
