The Bar has been raised!! My thoughts about tonight’s dancing are:-
The boys definitely came out on top!
Gethin was AMAZING!!! I loved his waltz so much, it was romantic and beautiful and everything it should have been. I definitely felt the connection between them flowing out of my TV! Well Done GETH!! (assuming the acting teacher brought it out of them and they are not really in LURVE!!) Latin was brilliant too – but he needs try to keep his head up!!
Matt – Both dances were Fantastic! Agree with the judges about your rumba arms. Wonderful! Get them hips going going though lad – borrow Leticia’ Hula hoop! I loved the tango and felt some of the comments were a bit harsh. Matt looked like a real man tonight.
Kenny – he was not a coat hanger at all. Rumba is hard, and all things considered, I think he did remarkably well. I think he pulled the short straw tonight as the Foxtrot and Rumba are probably the most difficult dances of all?! Gabby and Ola should be very proud of him!
Leticia – I really felt for her tonight, poor girl. It was plain to see that she was really poorly, and as to be expected it was reflected in her dancing. However, lots of nice steps and my daughter and I were up doing cha-cha with her in our living room! Hope she is feeling better soon.
Alesha – tango top line was great, smashing body movement with plenty of drama. I thought the steps looked a bit messy and not quite “right” – I kept expecting kicks, but none came except towards the end. I liked it, but I wasn’t blown away like I thought I would be. Have to say the same about the Latin, i was a little bored, as was my husband. I don’t think the judges comments matched the scores – ie harsh comments, high scores?
Best Judge award tonight goes to Craig (except for the thumb!)
It wasn’t the same without Kelly. We will all miss her. God rest Mr “Kelly’s Dad’s” soul.
